Quality Policy


 Zestan has been providing its services since its establishment in 1988, within the point-of-sale (POS) advertising sector, producing displays, industrial parts and auxiliary furniture.

 Zestan's Management establishes and disseminates this Quality Policy in order to consolidate and improve the Quality Management System at all levels of the organization.

Design, development, marketing, production and shipping activities in Advertising Sector Products, both nationally and internationally.

To this end, the following commitments are adopted, which support the Strategic Direction of the organization:

  • Ensuring that processes maintain focus on achieving intended results, especially with regard to Customer Satisfaction
  • Reduce non-quality to minimum values to avoid risks and threats and to be able to prevent and reduce unwanted effects.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements, including those specified by the client, legal and regulatory requirements, and those deemed necessary.
  • To continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes in order to achieve continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • To this end, the General Management undertakes to make this Quality Policy available to all interested parties. It will also ensure its communication, understanding, and application within the organization.

The Management of ZESTAN SA defines and documents its commitment to implement and maintain the chain of custody requirements in accordance with the applicable PEFC and FSC® standards.

Zestan is an organization whose main objective is to manufacture and market all types of displays, using environmentally and socially responsible materials and extraction processes. One of the raw materials used is wood, which is why Zestan has implemented a chain of custody system. This system guarantees that the wood purchased has been obtained following established requirements throughout all processes, ensuring the environmental protection of forests and their controlled harvesting, as well as the health and safety of all personnel involved.

Zestan, in a firm commitment to ensuring compliance with the established provisions, guarantees to its customers and other interested parties that:

- Acquiring timber or timber products from illegal logging or through illegal marketing channels

- Violation of human or traditional rights in forestry operations;

- Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations;

- Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest uses;

- Introduction of genetically modified organisms into forestry operations;

- Violation of any of the main ILO conventions, as defined in the 1998 Declaration of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and of the social and occupational safety and health requirements promoted by this organization, such as:

  • Do not prevent workers from freely associating, electing their representatives, or collectively bargaining with the company.
  • Do not use forced labor,
  • Do not make use of hiring workers below the minimum legal age of 15 years, or below the age of compulsory schooling, if this is higher.
  • Ensuring that working conditions do not endanger the safety or health of workers.

 

The Policy is communicated to all Company personnel and is also available to customers, suppliers or any interested party upon request.

 

All of this is aimed at continuous improvement, achieving an optimal level of safety for the development of the work, respecting the environment in which it is carried out and adapting the activity to the requirements of the contracts.
